The Grand Rapids Model Railroad Historical Society

We were are in the middle of remodeling the bathroom at the club 

Since the national convention is right around the corner we figured it was time sooner that later, after we found that the floor was rotten we ended up tearing all the wood or it was wood at one time and we ended up at the concrete slab. Instead for trying to build a new subfloor we ened up having a new concrete floor poured over the slab.  

We were not expecting that added expense in turn we added a donation page to the website to help raise funds for the unexpected expense.

We know that when we are finished with the bathroom that it will be the Taj Amhal of railroad club bathrooms.

Just thought you might want to know.

Dashing through the snow, what snow? It melted again. 

Winter is here well so they say, it feels more like April 1st then February 1st.

We are planning on starting work on remodeling the entry way and restroom next week. 

Wyoming Yard is progrssing very well, Yard Master Hank has done a great job of getting ballest down and landscaping started.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Train Show even though the weather was great for October we had a good crowd.

One must wonder why every time you run your layout new problems just suddenly appear, I guess it keeps the MOW crew busy, job security.
